David began his legal career in 1977 and remains the Principal of the Practice. He is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and Angas lawyers is a Gold member of the Law Society. David is also a member of the Small Practice Committee of the Law Society.
David has over 41 years’ experience in legal practice representing both individuals and large corporations in most courts and tribunals in South Australia. He practices assisting small business owners with commercial transactions, preparing agreements and giving commercial advice as well as providing individual clients with assistance in the areas of estate planning, wills and powers of attorney, Family Law, Work Cover matters for both Claimants and Employers, Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation.
Mel has performed a number of roles with the practice since starting work in 2009 as a Secretary. Mel has over fourteen years’ experience working for legal practices. She currently works as a Receptionist, Para Legal and Office Manager. She assists in the everyday running of the business, drafting of Wills and Living Wills, preparing Estate documentation, administration of Estates and the preparation of complex court documentation. In addition to this, Mel provides administrative direction and back up for other staff members.
John has performed management and accounting roles for legal practices large and small for more than forty years. John has worked with our firm since 2004 carrying out bookkeeping duties in particular in relation to our trust account. John has a wealth of knowledge and experience about good legal management and accounting practice.
Llewellyn joined the team at Angas Lawyers in 2016 . He was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2015 in South Australia. He completed his studies at the University of South Australia and ANU. He also has completed post graduate studies in Taxation Law. While studying Llewellyn began working in community based legal clinics. He quickly gained a knowledge on a broad area of laws. He practices primarily in estate planning and family law . Llewellyn is a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
